First Date Dress

There are so many things to be concerned about before heading out on a first date: where to go, what to talk about, what not to talk about, etc. And yet, the number one question every girl has in her mind is always about ‘what to wear’. It may seem shallow, but how you dress on a first date is actually pretty, Ahan no! It is very important. The reality is, if your date isn’t into the way you look, you might not get the chance to get beyond initial attractions to show how truly great you are. Half looks, half dress! This is the age old myth .To make sure you present yourself in the best light, follow these tips for the perfect, knock-’em-dead first date outfit.

Ways to Dress Up on a First Date

1Wear a dress-

Wear a dress

Though they say, appearance is deceptive, it is always nice to prove the fact quite wrong. No! Appearance can never be deceptive on first dates. It is all that you wear, matters more than anything around. Well, impressing the guy with looks comes without saying. The most important tip a girl can be offered is to wear a clean black dress or a pretty skirt on the first date. For many of us, it’s become almost awkward to put these on for an everyday occasion and we ought to feel like we’re “too dressed up.” But through a man’s eyes, a dress or skirt shows off our sexy and feminine side. Don’t believe it? Try wearing a dress the next time you go out at night. You will notice a big difference in the reactions you get from men.

2Wear a heal-

Wear a stunning pair of heels. You may realize that your back, knees and toes may not thank you, but with ballerina flats and riding boots overwhelming the shoe racks, this will make the point. You will look and feel more feminine the second you slip them on. Plus, heels flatter your lower half—something your date will definitely notice. Make sure to find a pair that is comfortable to walk in, preferably with an open toe and a slight platform for the perfect effect. It is always sexier when you can remove your heels and walk barefoot in front of your date after the date.

3Choose the right colors-

Choose the right colors

Colors always accentuate the way you look. In my other article about how mood, color and dresses are interrelated, the different color combinations and mood variety were discussed. Here is a secret many women do not think of. Choose a great color on a first date! Professional women love to dress in black, brown and grey because these colors are understated and slimming. But men aren’t looking for a boardroom buddy on a first date! They’re not hiring you, and this isn’t a job interview. They’re searching for a feminine compliment to their masculine energy—someone they can treat like a lady so they can feel like a man. Pastels may not be a good part of a decorating plan, but they’ll do a lot for your feminine look. Turquoise and coral seem to be particular favorites for many men, but choose a color that looks best with your complexion and always make sure you accessorize less. Never put yourself out so much, so avoid making yourself look too grand or under dressed.

4They do not care about brands-

do not care about brands

As long as you are beautifully comfortable, no guy is worried about the brand of what you are wearing. It doesn’t matter to him if you are wearing a Gucci or a Vuiton, because he doesn’t care! Quite naturally! Men could care less about labels. It doesn’t matter if you are going to look extremely decked up from top to bottom in brands , or you are wearing something that you bought on sale. Your body is not a hanger to display high fashion, and the only clothes you should be concerned with wearing are the ones that show off your best features.

5Carry yourself decently-

Carry yourself decently

Like mentioned, guys do not care what you carry, but it is always not about them. You need to carry a very decent looking purse that can look graceful with the dress you are wearing. Wearing an elegant dress also calls for a decent makeup and hairdo. Always try to show an open hair look which would be more romantic, but you can also do an up-do or braid your hair in a beautiful way. Wear a decent light makeup. Heavy makeup may scare the guy away. So a light lipstick ,blush and eye makeup can make all the difference.

Personal grooming is important for every woman. You must remember that these grooming is important to show others that you are serious about the way you look. You need to look elegant, hot, cute and sexy all at once. You will be able to take up the mantle of any work with more ease if you outward look and habits earn respect from the guy embracing you. Make a gentle mark on him and look sassy. Rock on girl. Paint the town red and look fab!
