Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tsp butter
- ½ cup chopped onions
- 1 ½ cups chopped spinach
- ½ cup chopped carrot
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Method of preparation
- Heat butter in a deep non-stick pan, add onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add carrot and ½ cup of water and mix well. Cover it with a lid and cook on a medium flame for 4 minutes.
- Add spinach, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
- Add milk, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Allow the mixture to cool completely. Then, blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Transfer the mixture back into a deep non-stick pan, add the salt and pepper, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve immediately.
