1Remember to wash oily hair frequently

2Protect hair when swimming
Always remember to protect the hair from all the damaging effects from chlorine by wetting and conditioning the hair before swimming. You can also wear a tight-fitting swim cap and use specially formulated swimmers shampoo as well as deep conditioners after swimming to replace the lost moisture.
3Trimming the hair
Try to trim the hair in every two months, as it can help to get rid of all the brown as well as rough split ends. Cut about 1/4th of an inch of the hair in every two months to avoid split ends to grow out.
4Coloring the hair
If you have dry hair, then it is always best to avoid coloring of your hair. However, if you are unable to resist an amazing color, you can use lemon, chamomile tea and honey as they can work as a great hair lightener. You can add lemon juice to the water and spray it over the hair when you are heading out. You can rinse the hair with some brewed chamomile tea after you have washed them with the shampoo or you can add honey to the water you use to wash the hair. This can help to keep your hair moisturized as well as soft and do not make your hair more dry.
5Deep conditioning
Even though if you are conditioning the hair after the wash, then nothing can work quite as good as deep hair conditioning. After washing the hair with shampoo, squeeze the extra water out and then towel dry it. Take generous amount of conditioner and apply it to the root of the hair. Then use a broad toothed comb and run it through the hair to make sure that the conditioner reaches every part of the hair. Now, pull them and clip them up. Then leave the conditioner on for at least of 10 minutes to an hour. After it, rinse thoroughly and enjoy the silky smooth hair.
6Use natural hair care products
Many commercial hair care products can always promise amazing results, but they also contain ingredients which can dry out the hair and leave it looking limp as well as dull. You can also notice a big difference right away, if you switch your products made with herbs, oils, and creams which can nourish the hair.
Most of the shampoos are generally made with strong cleaners called sulfates which can strip the natural oils from the hair and cause the frizzy and fray.Always choose a natural shampoo which is made with cleaning herbs and oils.

7Eat lot of nutrients for nourishment of the hair
A well-balanced diet that has plenty of protein, iron, vitamin B and omega-3, can help the hair to stay as thick and healthy as much possible. Vitamin B can keep the hair thick as well as strong. By eating plenty of fruits, vegetables as well as nuts can get enough vitamin B. If possible you can also eat beef, chicken, pork, fish and other leafy greens like kale and spinach to get the iron and protein for healthy hair.
Salmon, walnuts, and avocados can also be considered since it has excellent sources of omega-3, which can help the hair to stay shiny and healthy. Your diet can be supplemented with vitamins that are designed to make the hair stronger.
